Wow, I've been gone forever. I've been posting more on my class blog lately because I have to, whereas this blog is for fun. So I'm back! Today I wanted to talk about what I've been so inspired by lately, and that is, MGMT. MGMT is an American band, that started coming out with music in 2004. If you are EVER looking for music to listen to while drawing, painting, cooking eggs, doing interpretive dance whatever it is that you like to do, I promise you, you will not regret jamming to them. There music flows so perfectly that you all of a sudden become so inspired and motivated, and it just gives off a vibe that makes you feel like you're a hippy in the seventies all of a sudden. Now I don't know about you, but that's always a good thing to me. I listen to them whenever I do any kind of art, even my graphic design and photo work. If you plan to try them out, I suggest Electric Feel, and Kids, to be your first listens. Kids is my favorite. And as if there music wasn't enough, check out some of their album covers.

Analogous Colors School Assignment
One of my most recent assignments in my advanced photography class was to find and shoot complementary colors. These are colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel, such as; red and orange, orange and yellow, yellow and green, green and blue, and blue and violet. If we could not find these colors, we were to create them. This assignment was fun for me because although I prefer black and white photography, I do enjoy color challenges sometimes. My friend Alix and I went around our town through a grocery store and a park to find these colors. Here are a few of my photos from the assignment!
Introduction
Hello to anyone who may be reading this! My name's Taylor, and I live on the east coast of the US. This blog is going to serve as a place for me to put my photography out into the world. Enjoy! :)
